Favorite Memory - Miami Tour
I currently attend Total Grace Christian Center, where I sing on the Praise Team. I go to Georgia Perimeter College where im finishing up to go to Georgia Tech. I am a manager @ Financial Asset Management Systems. God has really favored me to sing with top gospel artists such as Byron Cage, Dorothy Norwood, Richard Smallwood, Israel & New Breed (the new CD and DVD comes out late April 2004) and come check out the concert in May, I'll be singing with Natalie Wilson....

Favorite Memory - Spending my birthday week on Spring Tour '97 - California. Lee,Ben,Tiye(my play twin-sister) and I were acting like fools in the hotel. Also when Lindsey and I started laughing really hard, about the time Sean yelled at Karli about her open window on the bus in California. And of course - ALL THE WONDERFUL MEALS, THE CHURCHES SERVED US AFTER WE SANG,LOL!!
After graduating from Morehouse(Class of 1999), I started a theater training program with 2 acting teachers in Washington,DC and I have been honored to be cast in shows working with different theater companies, as well as talented actors/actresses. So far I have been in 10 stage productions(3 lead roles), 4 indie films(2 lead roles) and a commercial for a Health Insurance company. During the year of 2002, I put together a spoken-word CD ,allowing me to publicly share my poetry among the DC area(jazz clubs,churches,community centers,conferences.)Right now, I am developing and exploring my craft, in preparation for a professional career as a performer. Keep Singing New Life!!

Favorite Memory - Receiving the revelation one night in choir rehearsal that I was supposed to be a part of Pastor Williams ministry before he officially founded his church, New Life International Family Church.
I am enjoying being married to the most wonderful man of God. We had our first son, Sean, on March 16, 2005. Currently, I am attending the University of Rochester to obtain my Ph.D. in Clinical Child Psychology.

Favorite Memory - 1) Tuesday night rehearsals in Sale Hall, Morehouse Campus. I always sat in an aisle seat in case I needed to get my praise on! 2)Tour 2000 when the choir ministered at my home church. 3)I miss everyone I knew/know, and pray the Lord's best for all.
I became a Morehouse Man on May 19, 2002. I was ordained an Elder by the Unison Free Will Baptist Association, and one of my sermons has been published in the African American Pulpit. (Judson Press) I received the Master of Divinity Degree from Yale University Divinity School, and will receive a second Master’s degree in Sacred Theology with a concentration in Ethics in May 2006, from the same institution. I am currently preparing to apply for doctoral programs, mentoring young people, and doing the work of an Evangelist.

Favorite Memory - The fellowship with other young people who though missing it (with regard to integrity) in areas of our walk with God...we were all going after God so voraciously. And so today here I stand still pursuing Him...Thank God for a New Life!
Unexpectedly, I am in full-time ministry. I am the worship arts director for one of Bishop Long's plant churches where he set one of his sons over the house, Pastor Terrell L. Murphy, here in Charlotte, North Carolina called New Birth-Charlotte.

Favorite Memory - I have MANY fond memories of New Life, including the lasting friendships forged with fellow choir members. I remember touring with the Choir from the first tour in Richmond,VA through the year to Phila, Texas, Chicago and Florida. I especially remember rooming with Jeronn and our bass play, Alton and the many nights we sat up shared life experiences. I thank God for blessing me with friends like them who prayed for me constantly.
I am currently The marketing/Revenue Manager for Latin America, Caribbean, and Mexico for Continental Airlines. I am a member of the Brookhollow Church here in Houston, along with my wife and two kids.

Favorite Memory - Although it was common, my favorite choir memory is the feeling I would have after rehersal was over. The word and praise during rehersal was always refreshing. The tours of spring break were also enjoyable, particulary Miami(2001) and Memphis (2003).
Currrently, I am in the process of enrolling into graduate school. In the meantime I am enjoying work as the Greenhouse Technician at Morehouse College.

Favorite Memory - Wow, this is a tough question. There are so many wonderful memories associated around New Life. The two clearest memories are meeting at the back gate to load into cars to travel to engagements only to find out there weren't enough drivers, thus breaking the law and loading cars to capacity. The second memory is singing back up with Hezikiah Walker. That was AWESOME!
I have been teaching for the past ten years. The time has flown by. Currently, I teach third grade at an all boys school, am completeing a Master's degree in Reading, and direct my church's Mime Ministry. I married a former New Life president. Ricardo Brown and I will celebrate 4 years July 29.

Favorite Memory - I must say tours in New York and California! I truly enjoyed every minute of singing in the choir. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to participate in such a wonderful ministry.
After leaving Spelman, I entered graduate school and received my Masters degree in Social Science Education from the University of Georgia. After pursuing a career in education, I decided to take some time off to become a stay-at-home mom. Favorite Memory - I have so many memories that I don't have a favorite. I will say that tour time was always an exciting and wonderful time for me!
I am now married to Charles Brown, II (former drummer of New Life), we have 2 beautiful children (Charles, III and Christina, before having my baby girl, I worked for a public accounting firm in Downtown New Orleans. My husband and I sing with a group called Yielded Vessels and have traveled extensively over the past 6 years and have performed with Kim Burrell and Karen Clark-Sherd and have been on the same programs with Men of Standard and Dawkins and Dawkins.

Favorite Memory - I loved the closeness of the choir, it really was home away from home. The best moment for me was when we came to sing at my home church in Philly, Mt. Airy COGIC in 1993.
I spent time in Europe doing grad school work-it was fantastic! Currently, I'm assistant director of the Arthur Ross Gallery at the University of Pennsylvania, and I also curate art exhibitions independently in Philly and NYC. i'm still very active in the youth and women's ministries at Mt. Airy COGIC. I still can't believe how fast the years have flown!
