Choir Member from 2001-2002 Favorite Song - "Great is the Lord" Favorite Memory - I remember once before an engagement, we were preparing to
consecrate ourselves. We were all standing in a circle and Pastor was
initiating the prayer. With my head bowed, I waited on Pastor to begin
speaking. Fortunately, while I had chosen to wait on Pastor, others knew to
begin their own prayer, thus setting the atmostphere. It was a full
participatory prayer, of which I had never taken part. That night I
learned that true fellowship of worship requires that we all take part, each
lifting up the Father's name in our own way. Right now, I am in a post-bac program at Yale University in New
Haven, CT. In essence, I am still trying to figure out what it is that I
want to "do with my life", so to speak. I trust that God has a divine
order and plan for my life. So right now, I am just waiting, working,
and praying. During Spring 2003, I studied abroad in Tanzania as part of
a Wildlife Ecology and Conservation Program. Upon my return from
Africa, I graduated from CAU. Within a month of my return, I was off again,
this time to Thailand where I participated in research at Chiang Mai
University. By the start of school, I was at Yale University. Why is all
of this even worth mentioning? Because it is a testiment of how God is
willing and able to do exceeding and abundantly ALL that we may think or
ask according to the power that worketh in us. PRAISE GOD!

Choir Member from 1998-2001 Favorite Song - "Standing on the Promises" Favorite Memory - I have so many favorite moments. I would say the one most
outstanding is going to Waffle House in Texas, and spending time with
Benyka Mitchell (who was certainly the LAUGH of my life!!!). I would also
say that looking back in retrospect, my time with New Life was a
favorite as I had the pleasure of worshiping, growing, and sharing the Good
News of Jesus with so many other young prople; certainly a privilege. I am currently a business attorney. My sister and I have incorporated a business that solicits monies from public and private corporations; for the benefit of paying FULL college tuitions to academically and economically deserving young African-Americans in the Central Ohio School District.
I also recently returned from Den Haag, Netherlands, where I was
working for the United Nations at the Criminal Tribunal for the former
Yugoslavia, working as an international prosecutor, helping to prosecute and
convict Slobodan Milosevic. GOD IS CONSISTENTLY BLESSING ME SO THAT I CAN BE A BLESSING TO SOMEONE
ELSE!
