Favorite Song - "The Lord's Prayer"
Favorite Memory - I loved rehearsals! They were the best! Hearing Jeronn trying to hit one of the sopranos' high notes is still so funny to me!
I am currently teaching Government and African American Studies at Caroline High School and preparing to go to China for the summer to serve as an English teacher and negotiator. I completed my Master's degree in 2002 and I'm active with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority in Fredericksburg, VA

Now in Blandon, PA
Choir Member from 1997-2000
Served as Bass Section Leader
Favorite Song - "Standing on the Promises"
Favorite Memory - All the tours. Tour Spring 1998 is probably my favorite. It was my first Tour, and I had never experienced anything like that before. I also met my wife, Jasmine (Reed) Gibbs on that tour (she couldn't resist "Da Gizz)". I also cherish all the people I met and have come to love as a result of the choir. I can remember the upper-classmen (NaQuan Thomas, Chris Cooper, Samario King, John Sharpe, Brandt, etc.) taking me under their wing, giving me rides to engagements(NaQuan, remember the Blue Olds? We rode that 'till the wheels fell off!!), and introducing me to a group of young people on fire for God. I love New Life, and I hold all these memories dear to my heart. It has become a Gibbs family tradition to be the hottest bass members from Philly in the choir--- killing everyone in Spades (hold it down Gene!)
After finishing the AUC Dual Degree Engineering Program (Mathematics & Mechanical Engineering [Morehouse &Georgia Tech]), I married Jasmine Reed July 19, 2003. Then I worked through the Business Leadership Training Program for Federal Mogul Corporation. I worked as a Manufacturing Engineer in the Summerton Sealing Systems facility. We lived in Sumter, SC. The training program encorporated three 18-24 month rotations around the country and the world. Currently Jasmine and I are living in Philadelphia/Reading area, raising our son, Geoffrey III (Tre').
