Served as Tenor Section Leader
Favorite Song - "Hold Me", "Psalms 150", "Worship Christ", "The Blood", "Oh To Be Kept"
Favorite Memory - There are so many wonderful experiences and memories from New Life that will stay with me forever. The atmosphere of rehearsals, concerts, events, socials, was so uplifting. I had the opportunity to meet and befriend so many college students and affiliates, who's lifestyles reflect their seriousness about their christian walk. I also have obtained the greatest friends God could ever bless anyone with (they know who they are!:-) However, the memory that will stand out the most is the "PICADILLY PARKING LOT EXPERIENCE" ..FLAKES!!!
There are so many doors God has opened for me. Just recently I signed a contract with a new Motion Picture Production Co. BlueBox Entertaiment as Film Consultant & Technician. In the past two years I've had the opportunity to colaborate w. many prestigous artists, production co's., ministers, and idols. Like now, I'm currently touring with the "Walking Bible" himself Bishop Noel Jones in which BlueBox will present its debut premier of it's HBO series "TRANSPARENT" which reflects the background lifestyle view of Bishop Jones after all the mic is off & bible closed. Be on the look out for others such, my very special favorite-former business consultant and friend the late Lisa "left-eye" Lopez. Others you can look out for are Whitney Houston & Bobby Brown, Eddie Griffin, My boys Shaq & Kobe, Smokie Norful, John Kee, Bishop Jakes, Bishop Long, Chris T. , Lorenz T., and my girls Missy & Fobia! - just to name a "few". :-) God has also bless me w. a new church home @ Total Grace Christian Center in Decatur, Ga. I'm praying to finish my membership classes soon as my schedule clears. I'm currently a Team leader @ Vital solutions, Inc. to pay for summer classes @ Georgia Perimeter College to pursue my degree in Marketing & Advertising. And I TOO am looking for "Good Success" in 2004!! Pray 4 Me!

Favorite Memory - I remember Freshman Year, we went to Georgia Tech and we sang "Oh Lord, We Give You Praise" and those white kids literally fell out under the anointing of the Holy Ghost! I will never forget that moment!
I am currently a first year MA student in African American Studies at Columbia University. I joined (under watch care) Bishop Charles Reed and the Pilgrim Cathedral Church of God In Christ in Harlem Family. Bishop Reed is the blood brother of Pastor Nathan Simmons of Citadel of Hope Evangelistic C.O.G.I.C. in Atlanta. I've been blessed and have remained strong in the Holy Ghost!

wrhenry119@comcast.net
Now in Elkton, MD
Choir Member from 1991-1995
Served as Activities Chair
Favorite Song - "Worship The Lord"
Favorite Memory - Coming back from tour in 1993, we were almost home, somewhere between Birmingham and Atlanta, and I looked out the window and saw a wheel roll off the highway and into the woods; seconds later we all heard and felt something grinding under the bus. We all came to find out that this was our wheel and the axel on the bus had broken. So we ended up waiting for hours for a replacement bus to come and get us. This may not seem very joyous or exciting, but it epitomized how God always took care of New Life. I am excited that we all lived to tell the story.
I am currently the pastor of Wrights AME Church in Elkton, MD and also an adjunct faculty member at Cecil Community College in the fields of history and religion. Since New Life, I went to Princeton to finish my Master of Divinity and from there served as assistant to the pastor of Mother Bethel AME Church, Philadelphia for two years. In 2000 I was appointed pastor of Wrights. Also at CCC I chair the Minority Student Services Advisory Board, a committee of both college employees and community representatives who direct the college on how they can better attract and retain minority students.

Served as Co-Activities Chair
Favorite Song - "Blessed Be The Name" and "Work It Out"
Favorite Memory - So many to choose from...I guess when we were on tour in Cali (1997), Karli asked Sean (the drummer ) to close his window, and he went on this LONG TIRADE about how women need to stay silent. Now I DO NOT agree with his views, but he had me laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes...I will still laugh about that to this day.
After graduating from Spelman College in May of 2000 with a BA in Theatre & Drama. I returned home to Chicago. I am in my third year of seminary at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary on the campus of Northwestern University pursuing a MA in Spiritual Formation & Evangelism and a Master of Theological Studies in Ethics. I am presently living with Karli Pidgeon (New Life Alum 97-99), and we are preparing to start a Christian Arts Company called Uplift.

Favorite Memory - Wow!! There are so many memories about the choir that thoroughly enjoyed. One would be the rehearsals. After a long day of classes you could go to rehearsal and be on one accord to uplift the name of the Lord through song. Another favorite memory would be the people. The people is what made tours and and outings fun, we became a family. These are just a few of my favorite memories.
