Served as Alto Section Leader Favorite Song - "He's Holy" & "Oh, to be Kept" Favorite Memory - I do not have just one favorite memory of the choir, but my most memorable experience from the choir was getting saved every Tuesday night! I needed these rehearsals to make it through Spelman with a
sane mind. I am currently working as a substitute teacher for Gwinnett
County. I am also an Administrative Assistant with Crawford Communications,
and I attend Gwinnett Technical College in preparation for nursing
school. I married my college sweetheart on July 8, 2006 (our 6th year anniversary)and I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. (Kappa Omega Chapter in Atlanta).

Choir Member from 1999-2000 Favorite Song - "Lily in The Valley" Favorite Memory - One was when Jeronn was telling people it's okay if you can't
clap (and he wasn't talking to white me)
Currently, I'm figuring out what to do with the next while. I've been working
at an Americorps program doing environmental education...I'm also
learning about the streets and volunteering at a community center....and
building bridges between people as usual... I've also been teaching english as a new language to lots of
people from different countries and about two years ago got to teach
english in Rwanda and Burundi for a summer - it was wonderful...I am deeply
grateful for the experience. Yeah...and a lotta other stuff.

Choir Member from 2001-2002 Favorite Song - "Oh To Be Kept", "High In All The Earth" Favorite Memory - Going on tour. I'd never been in a choir before let alone a
gospel one, a gospel one that travels?! Never! I thought that I'd get to
see a bit of America when I came over but not in the way I eventually
did and God being so good, I know now that I wouldn't have wanted to
travel any other way...
Well that's one memory. I have a whole host of others, but the one that
keeps rising to the surface is of Pastor taking us up a couple of keys
during "High in all the Earth". That was a day I truly discovered that
the spirit can most definately take you where the flesh does not want
to go!!
Waiting to begin studies again...I don't know what's the matter
with me either. I finally graduate from the educational system and I
willfully elect to do the rounds again. It is a different direction
though, and one that I have prayed about so I know God will take me through.
Well, I graduated last year and am just growing in the
spirit. Oh, and I help out with the youth group at my church. Bless God,
there's more to come but I'll wait for them to manifest themselves first.
It'll be easier to explain.
