Favorite Memory - I have so many wonderful memories that I'm not sure which to name as my favorite... perhaps the Chicago/Detroit tour -- I experienced a move of the Spirit in a way that I never had before (some friends have said that I jumped over a pew and shouted out of my jacket)!
After graduating Spelman in 1999, I obtained an MA in higher education from the University of Michigan and an MA in sociology from Stanford University. I am in the process of deciding whether to teach or go back to school - I'll be sending an update once the decision is made. More importantly, I am married to Kamau Welcher (Morehouse c/o 2001) and we have a BEAUTIFUL 2 month old little girl. We have a full house with my five year old stepson, and we all belong to the Stronghold Christian Church in Lithonia, GA. God continues to show himself faithful and I look forward to finding out what He has in store for me!
