The ministry was birthed on Easter Sunday, April 4, 1999, and under Bishop Williams' leadership, has impacted the lives of countless individuals and ministries within the United States and across international borders. With Bishop Williams at its helm, New Life International Family Church has become a beacon of light for kingdom-building throughout the Atlanta community.

Bishop Williams was born to James and Donna Williams and raised in Detroit, Michigan. The call of God upon his life to be a leader in the kingdom of God was apparent from early childhood, and accepted at the age of 12. Bishop Williams later launched his collegiate career at the prestigious Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. He later graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.

From 1993 to present, Bishop Williams has been the Director and Minister of Music for the nationally known and well traveled, New Life Inspirational Gospel Choir. Membership exceeds 100 students from colleges and universities across Atlanta including: Clark-Atlanta University , Emory University , Georgia Tech, Georgia State University , Interdenominational Theological Center, Morehouse College, Morris Brown College, and Spelman College. Under Bishop Williams' direction, New Life Inspirational Gospel Choir has toured several cities across the United States and abroad. In addition to touring, the choir has also performed with and opened concerts for several award winning gospel artists such as Hezekiah Walker, Yolanda Adams, Fred Hammond, the Sounds of Blackness, and Tye Tribbett.

Bishop Williams is also the proprietor of JCW Ministries, LLC. Under the operational umbrella of JCW Ministries, Bishop Williams serves as the Founder of New Life International Fellowship Churches, and the Founder and Chancellor of the Ministers Training Institute; a cutting-edge organization charged with preparing front-line leaders for kingdom-building and advancement through biblical principles and spiritual development, balanced with sound business practices.

In 2002, Bishop Williams was the recipient of an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree from St. Thomas Christian College in Jacksonville , Florida , and has been recognized for his charisma and cutting-edge revelations by YoungProphets.com as Icon of the Month. In 2005, Bishop Williams was a two-time special guest pastor of TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) studio in Atlanta. During the same year, Bishop Williams was the recipient of an earned Doctorate of Religious Philosophy degree from Tabernacle Bible College & Seminary located in Tampa, Florida. March 31, 2007 marked a new chapter in the life of Dr. Williams, as he was consecrated and elevated to the Office of Bishop. He is the founder and Presiding Bishop of New Life International Fellowship Churches.

Bishop Williams is united in holy matrimony to his college sweetheart, Dr. LaToya K. Williams (formerly “Culver”) of Prentiss, Mississippi, and they are the proud parents of Jeronn C. Williams II.
